- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a square or 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the dry cake mix over the lemon pie filling.
- Distribute the cubed cream cheese evenly over the cake mix layer.
- Top with the remaining cake mix.
- Place the thinly sliced butter on top, covering as much of the surface as possible.
- Bake for 35–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
