  1. Prepare the Slow Cooker: Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker.

  2. Add Liquids and Seasonings: Pour in the chicken broth and add the cream of chicken soup. Sprinkle in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

  3. Cook the Chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or until the chicken is fully cooked and easily shreds.

  4. Shred the Chicken: Remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker and shred them using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.

  5. Add Noodles and Peas: Stir in the egg noodles and frozen peas (if using). Cover and cook on low for an additional 30–45 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.

  6. Finish the Dish: Stir in the butter and heavy cream until melted and well combined. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
