Ingredients:

  • 6 to 7 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups warm water (110°F to 115°F)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions:

  1. Activate the Yeast:
    • In a large mixing bowl, combine the warm water and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
    • Sprinkle the yeast over the water and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes, or until foamy. This indicates that the yeast is activated and ready to use.
