Ingredients:

1 cup lemon juice (freshly squeezed for best flavor)

1 cup granulated sugar

8 oz mascarpone cheese (room temperature)

1 cup heavy cream (chilled)

½ cup powdered sugar

Zest of 1 lemon (for garnish)
Instructions:

Prepare the Lemon Syrup:

In a small saucepan, combine lemon juice and granulated sugar. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat and let cool.
