  • Feeling lightheaded, clumsy, or having trouble walking—even if briefly—can hint at low blood flow in parts of the brain concerned with coordination.

  • These balance issues can happen days to weeks beforehand and often get ignored.


3. Sudden Weakness or Numbness (One Side of the Body)

  • Numbness or weakness in the face, arm, or leg—especially on one side—is one of the most common warning signs.

  • Even if it fades in minutes or hours, it could indicate a mini-stroke (TIA), which often precedes a full stroke in the near future.


4. Blurry or Troubled Vision

  • Unexplained trouble seeing in one or both eyes—whether it’s dimming, double vision, or a shadowed side of your visual field—should prompt attention immediately.

  • Again, it may come and go, but it’s a serious sign not to ignore.
